2009-12-01 - At last some churches will fill up again ...
Dear Friends, Intercessors, and Mission Partners!
At last some churches will fill up again for Christmas Eve. Bound by tradition, people will go to church to please their children, parents, or grandparents. Christmas seems so harmless – the helpless child in the cradle, the poor shepherds, the lovely angels. Whoever thinks about Christmas in those terms does not know the way God works. The inconsiderable baby Jesus in the manger was a calculated “seed” sown by God. He “sowed“ Jesus with the world harvest in mind. Jesus came to seek and to save what was lost (Lk 19:10), the lost kingdom – the world.
This was the beginning of the end for the powers of darkness! The inconsiderable child, born in a stable, turns out to be the anointed one (Messiah), the Son of God, the savior of the world (Jn 4:42)! So much for the child in the manger – he is the Lord of Lords (Rev 17:14)! All the devil's attempts to put a stop to the Kingdom of Light fail because of him – the King of Kings (Rev 17:14). Even death can't hold him. Jesus keeps expanding the Kingdom of God even through us, in reality – today. That's what Christmas means to me.
Thank you for your friendship, prayers, and donations in 2009. Because of your support the kingdom of God has been built, and people have found eternal life. Time and time again God has worked signs and wonders this year. This is a prove for the presence of the Kingdom of God. It is glorious to see people's faces radiating for joy, after Jesus has healed them. This morning for instance, I got to know that Jesus healed a lady when I ministered in Bucharest. She had been suffering from back pains for years, which were keeping her awake at night. Jesus is wonderful!
This year, the message of salvation and healing has reached people in Germany, the Philippines, England, France, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ukraine, Spain, Italy, and Romania. Furthermore, TV-shows produced by GEN, have been broadcasted on local cable networks in Pakistan and on the Philippines. Millions of people have been reached. Additionally we continue to support to missionaries in India. Thank you to all who prayed and gave. You made all these things possible! A journey to Nigeria is coming up still this year. Please pray for a rich harvest of souls.
In 2010 we'll continue to evangelize and to bring revival. A GOSPEL-TOUR ASIA is planned for January, to preach the Gospel in several Asian countries. I'm looking forward to a blessed and bountiful harvest time in January and beyond.
A big thank you to all who faithfully stood with us and supported the gospel work in 2009. Please keep at it in 2010. Together we will continue: Serving the church! Reaching the world!
On behalf of GEN I wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed 2010.
In the Lord's harvest!
